After a GOLIATH amount of work, we are super excited to see our publication in Circulation Research describing a new horizon for LDLR regulation. We discover the molecular mechanism underlying previously observed genome-wide associations in humans in the RNF130 locus. We found that RNF130, a unique membrane-bound E3 ubiquitin ligase, regulates LDLR abundance and availability at the plasma membrane. Also, our artwork was selected for the cover!
